Description

Back of photograph: "(c) Henry P. Staats / Bedon's Alley was in existence by 1704. The alley was named for George Beadon (Bedon) who owned land near the street. According to Poston, Bedon's Alley, was developed between 1704-88. The alley was primarily constructed during eighteenth century, and it was rescued by Susan Pringle Frost during her preservation initiative in the 1920s and 30s.
