For the Review
Field [illegible] on the Right in the Rear
The men to be drawn up 2 deep as usual, in open order
The Battalion being told of in 3 Grand Decisions 6 S. Divisions, & front & rear ½ files
Rear Rank take your proper distance
Fix your Bayonets
Officers take your Post in the front of the Battalion & Serjeants drop in a line, Spaces in the rear
Drawn on the right, left & centre
The Major on the right of the adjutant on the left in a line with the Officers
When the General is at a proper distance the Major men to the Center of the front & Gives the Word, To the front Present your Arms, two falls again in his plan on the right
The Officers in Saluting must begin, so that they may have just finish'd the Salute by the time the Gen. comes opposite to them, has expected they will do it with life & [illegible], Pulling of the Hat look the Gen. full in the face, no bowing the head
The Major & Adjutant Salute by dropping the Points of their Swords
When the Officers begin to Salute the Drummers beat a march
Should the Gen. go round to the Rear, the Major will face the man as usual (the officers facing with them) Serjeant 2d
When the Gen. has taken his Post to receive the Marching Salute
Officers take your Post in Grand Divisions
The Colonel in the front of the right Grand division
The Staff Officers form in a line in his Front
The Captains in a line in his rear who lead the G.D.
The Lieuts. [illegible] drop in a line in the front of the 3d G.D. which they lead
The first Lieut. drops in a line in the Rear
The Lieut. Col. in the Rear of all
The Serjeant on the Rt. flank of the Grand Divisions
Grand Divisions to the right wheel March!
Drums
March: The march will form an Oblong Sq.
The Officers begin their marching Salute in proper time, post. of their Hats as before
The Serjeants in Passing the Gen. lift their hands to their Cape
[Illegible] Saluting the Battalion is form'd on their former Ground
Rear Rank take your proper distance!
Officers take your Post in the front of the Battalion (according to Seniority) (& 3 places in front)
Serjeants dress as before in the Rear
Rear Left solrs. take your Proper Distance (8 lay Paces)
Serjeants at the same time go to the right about Do.
[Illegible] in the Rear of that [illegible] files 6 [illegible] Paces
Officers take your Post in the Rear!
The Manual must then be perform'd with life
Orderly Drum & fife in front [illegible] the Major (other drums 2d)
Officers take your Post in the Front
Rear half files to the left [illegible] your front
The Serjeants march at the same time to their places in the rear
Rear Rank Class to the front, Serjeants march with them
[Illegible] on the drum, or to arms
Officers fall in rank the line to their Platoons, the Supernumerary officers fall in the rear rank, every one attach'd to a particular Platoon at the opposite [illegible] of the Officers Commanding it, The Serjeants in the rear of the Officers

Platoons by the right Columns
When they are mount'd rear the [Illegible]

The same as from the Right

March them to within 30 Paces of the Reviewing Gen.
To arms in forming the Battalion the Platoons fire as they come up

The Major gives the Word of Command and Fires on [illegible] Volley

The Whole Battalion come to an Order
