The Inclosed return is Just come to hand & have directed, Col.ol Richardson, Benton, Horry and
Sabb, to transmit to you the returns of their Respective Regiments, & you must call on the Commanding Officer of the Corps of Artillery in Charleston for their Returns, when you get them all, please make a General Return of these & send it to me to sign, that I mayComply with the within Act of Assembly, by which You will see these is no Occasion to take any notice
of the women & Blacks as some has [unreadable] you have an Opportunity to the above Col.ol. I wish you woud wright to them for their returns – the separate returns you must keep, untill called for—
