Sir!
You will conform yourself agreeable to his Excelly John Rutledge Esqr.’s Proclamation dated the fifth day of this present August -
You will prevent all persons from carrying any property out of this State which are Enemies to the said State, and are hereby authorized to call on the Militia of your District to Aid & Assist you, in preventing such property being carried away, or in any part of your business as Justice of the Peace - And all Officers of Militia are hereby ordered to give you that assistance which you may require -
Your will put all moveable property belonging to persons who have joined the Enemy in the hands of such persons as may take the best care of Them for the Use of this State, keeping an Account what property is intrusted to such persons as you may appoint as overseers, or other persons -
