Description
Bennett's Rice Mill
Back of photograph: "(c) Henry P. Staats / Bennette's Rice Mill / Concord St." This image is mostly likely of the facade of the western wall that was saved with great effort by local preservationists in the mid-20th century. It truly is a testament to the structure that the remaining portion of the facade managed to survive Hurricane Hugo. References: Poston, J. (1997).
