Constructed circa 1767-72 The elaborately carved wooden door surround displays a pediment supported by engaged, Corinthian columns, possibly derived from a plate in Edward Oakley’s Magazine of Architecture, Perspective, and Sculpture (1730) (Poston, 1997, p. 285).
